About the Role:
Will monitor/evaluate and take our IELTS Speaking test
Responsibilities:
Conduct Speaking Assessments: Evaluate and score IELTS speaking tests for test takers in a fair and consistent manner, following the IELTS scoring guidelines and criteria.
Feedback Provision: Provide comprehensive and constructive feedback to test takers, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement in their speaking skills.
Scoring Accuracy: Ensure accurate and consistent scoring of speaking tests, adhering to established scoring standards and maintaining confidentiality.
Timely Reporting: Submit evaluation scores and feedback reports within the specified timeframes to facilitate the overall IELTS testing process.
Professional Development: Stay updated on IELTS speaking test trends and evaluation criteria, participate in training or calibration sessions as required, and maintain a high level of professionalism in the role.
English Language Proficiency: Exceptional proficiency in English, with native or near-native fluency, and a clear understanding of English grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary.
IELTS Certification: Possession of a valid IELTS certification with a high score, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the IELTS test format and scoring criteria.
Teaching or Evaluation Experience: Previous experience as an English language teacher, IELTS tutor, or speaking evaluator, with the ability to assess and provide constructive feedback on test takers' speaking abilities.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to provide detailed, constructive feedback to test takers in a clear and helpful manner.
Technology Proficiency: Comfort with online assessment tools and the ability to use video conferencing platforms for remote evaluation.
